Colour grading for LOG

When it comes to colour grading for LOG you have a lot more leeway, compared to filming with out log. This is because when you film in LOG it creates a barrier that protects the lowlights and highlights. You can find more about filming in LOG on my previous post - https://universitylifemae.blogspot.com/2019/01/shooting-in-log.html
Because of the way LOG protects your shadows and highlights when footage is exported into your chosen editing softwear, it may look dull and greyish and flat. However this is easily fixable through colourgrading as LOG has protected allyour colours, while still recording the metadata needed for that vibrancy.
