The Conspiracy Theory - Part 3

Before we even came to edit the film, the group and I knew that we wanted to use as little title cards as possible because we knew that with the foootage we had collated would drive the narrative on its own. We would onlu use them to introduce certain sections of the film, such as "and then things got complicated" to highlight that this is where the conspiracy element is injected. They are also used when doing comparasions between the "old" and "new" Avril. This is because we knew and wanted the story to speak for itself and for the audience to become fully invested in the film and not the text on the screen. The feedback we had gotten of other students was positive and they felt like the film had a clear and understanderble narrative. Our only issue was balancing some of the audio and making it fade in and out smoothly. This was all done with key framing in Premire Pro.
I felt like I did a good job within this project as I gathered a fair amount of the research, such as the song lyrics some of the comparision shot. I also helped clean up some of the editing, such as the smoothness of the sound and getting it all to flow better.
