Learning the Industry - Mae Powell

The Zoom H6 is an audio recording device. It has 6 channels. Theres L and R which are acssesible via  the attachmets for the top and the other 4 via XLR. The H6 has a pre-record funtion installed in, so that you never miss a second. It can also record in two different basic file types, WAV. and Mp3. The Zoom H6 is ideal for small productions because it is small and light wieght. Its also easily portable. The video below depicts all the fuctions of a zoom as well as the several attachments you can buy for it.

Before we even came to edit the film, the group and I knew that we wanted to use as little title cards as possible because we knew that with the foootage we had collated would drive the narrative on its own. We would onlu use them to introduce certain sections of the film, such as "and then things got complicated" to highlight that this is where the conspiracy element is injected. They are also used when doing comparasions between the "old" and "new" Avril. This is because w e knew and wanted the story to speak for itself and for the audience to become fully invested in the film and not the text on the screen.  The feedback we had gotten of other students was positive and they felt like the film had a clear and understanderble narrative. Our only issue was balancing some of the audio and making it fade in and out smoothly. This was all done with key framing in Premire Pro. After deciding that Arvil Lavigne was going to our topic for the conspiracy videos, it was time to do more indepth reaserch. We looked at multiple fan blogs, youtube videos and even new report that were made on the subject, and complied it into a doctument title how and why is it a conspiracy theory.
