What is Film Grammer?

Film grammer is defined as the following:

  1.  A frame is a single still image, which is equal to a single letter in a word.
  2. A shot is a single continuous recording, which is equal to a word.
  3. A scene is a series of related shots, and is equal to a sentance.
  4. A squence is a series of scenes put together, and is equal to a paragraph.
Within film grammer we also have the definitions for different types of shots and angles used in filming.
